Vibe Coding on Smartphones

Listen to this article (AI Voice)

As we are all vibe coding on our laptops, Nothing has gone one step further and introduced vibe coding on their flagship phones. The new ad from Nothing shows that now you can vibe code your widgets or basic applications to use on your Nothing phone. Creating an application required years of experience before, but now through low-code platforms and the trend of vibe coding, you can easily create your application on your own. You just need basic knowledge and good prompting skills.

Essential Apps

Nothing has created a similar platform called Playground, and it is currently in beta. You can access it through your email, and you can prompt it to create applications or widgets to use on your home screen, for example a weather app, flight tracker, stopwatch, timer, and more. You can also share your developed apps or widgets in the Playground community so other users can install them if they find them useful.

Currently, it is in beta and is only available on the Nothing flagship smartphone Nothing Phone 3. Later this year, they will move it from beta to live and also expand it to their other phones as well.

We’re all coders now 😅
