Recently Spotify released their fourth quarter’s earnings call, and additionally they have also mentioned their company’s developers have been using AI to do coding, and they have shipped more than 50 features last year.

Notable features like Prompted Playlists, Page Matcher, and About This Song — these features must have been developed mostly using AI. Spotify has an internal AI model, Honk, which they can use to do coding and fasten their production process, and it is connected to all of their working applications. For example, their employee was at home and making a commute to the company. If they want to develop a new feature, they just need to tell Slack to develop this feature using AI.

Before the employee reaches the office, it will develop the code, and it will be ready for deployment. Or you can give a comment to auto-deploy the code as well, and even they can guide the AI to fix the bug in the way. And also, the team has mentioned they were trying various features with the help of AI and a large amount of datasets.
