Meet the App Detecting Smart Glasses Near You

Listen to this article (AI Voice)

Smart glasses are built for multiple purposes to record beautiful moments with our friends and family and capture a scenic place and it also has multiple purposes like translation asking any question to get information.

But now it has been slightly changed into covert surveillance devices People are using the devices to surveil other people and they are recording them without their permission because of this normal common people’s privacy got affected if you say it clearly  they did not know they were being recorded. There are so many articles based on this which gives motivation to an independent developer Jeanrenaud to develop an application named Nearby Glasses which allows users to get to know when smart glasses are around It will notify the users through notifications.

And it was available on the Google Play Store and you can download it and check it it will work on the nearby Bluetooth signals that contain a publicly available assigned identifier unique to the Bluetooth device manufacturer and the device will identify the smart glasses from meta and snap.

If you want to check it out, try downloading from the Play Store and check it out and it was an open-source project You can also find the code in GitHub. While using the application it will show the devices around you but it does not mean they are all recording so use it carefully.
